Snippet Art : An artistic composition of snippets of fabric !                                                                               Snippet Art is a way to create pictures... ...not with dabs of paint... ...but with snippets of fabric!     The talented American Fabric Artist, Cindy Walter,  invented the technique and when she personally introduced me to Snippet Art in 1998, it was "love at first snip"! I was delighted when she published three of my designs in one of her "Snippet Sensations" books. Thank you, Cindy! I live in Taranaki, New Zealand, with a magnificent mountain only minutes away to climb,explore, and be inspired by. Indeed, the beautiful bushwalks all over my homeland are constantly beckoning and providing me with a treasure-trove of ideas, images, and memories to tap and snip into, to create my own colourful, original works of Snippet Art. Hundreds of snippets of fabric are used to create my pictures. I enjoy every step and snip along the way!              I "sign off" my Snippet Art work with a little handmade ladybird... so look for this 'Wendyism' on each of my Snippet Art pictures!         wendy@ladybirds.co.nz     (P.S.
